Sales Meeting Talks About Customer Service

A sales meeting talk on customer service is likely to “go in one ear and out the other.” After all, most salespeople have heard it many times before. In most cases, a fresh approach is needed.

Your speaker could, for example, explain the origin of a “baker’s dozen.” “Little Joey went seven blocks out of his way each time his mother sent him to the bakery. Why did he do this? Because the baker would count out the twelve doughnuts Joey requested. Then he’d give Joey an extra doughnut to eat on his way home.”

The point, about customer service, can then be applied to your own products and method of selling. The story can be topped off by passing out doughnuts. A coffee break might logically follow.
