Last summer my step mom got cosmetic surgery and the results look really good so far. In my state a there are certain plastic surgeons that are better than others. I’d consult plastic surgeons in your area and see what sort of success they have had with past clients. http://www.plasticcosmeticsurgerycenter.com/California-Plastic-Cosmetic-Surgery.html They should be able to answer your questions.

why would you want dimples? haha, you can have mine! I hate them, because everybody always comments on them and it makes me really self conscious. but no, i don’t think it would be dangerous, it’s nowhere near any bones really, good luck! you can always go and ask advice from a cosmetic surgeon before you have the surgery!!

It’s a 5 inch long verticle scar. I know that cosmetic surgery is the only way to improve it. My question is, how much better will it look and about what would the cost be? It looks really bad right now, trust me.

Get 1000 units of vitamin E capsules and break one everyday. apply it to the scar and rub it in. It does certainly take the scars away in do time. It may take a while but it’s a lot cheaper than cosmetic surgery unless you can afford it.

i have 2 genetic defects that i have been told by my dr will never change. 1 is that my thighs are really large. everyone in my family has large thighs, so i guess it comes from that. i wear size 13 around the waist but size 20 through the thighs. finding jeans … impossible. also finding bras is impossible. i am larger than a C on one side and slightly smaller than an A on the other. my dr and parents suggest surgery… but idk. my friend’s mom had surgery and had a horrible recovery that is still going on a season later. also… might the medicine/anestesia hurt your brain? is it even really worth it and will the insurance pay for it? please answer if u can tell me anything i should know about surgery before deciding to have it.

I had cosmetic surgery in germany and trust me, it will change your life. successful cosmetic surgery is absolutely wonderful. 1st regarding the breasts, i recommend having them both fixed and go for a size that does not require you to wear a bra at all. life it 1000000 times better without a bra. also, recovery is soo much better too. on the thighs, that is messed up, i have big thighs too, and it runs in the family. if you can have that fixed too, go for it. you won’t regret it. a little pain is nothing compared to the psychological boost it will give you.

I have a credit score of 524 =( I am hoping to get cosmetic surgery in January. I will be paying off half my debt in October… A school loan gone bad. I was wondering if anyone knows if my credit will be good enough to get approved for 2/3 of the loan in January?

Your credit record is abysmal. And you are only going to pay off 1/2 of the arrears next month? You cannot afford cosmetic surgery. First, pay your debts, then save up for what you need and want for your future. And no, with that credit record, you could not borrow that much when lending was loose.

Today lending is very tight, and you couldn’t borrow that much for something so frivolous (to a banker!) if you had a credit score of 700. You aren’t borrowing diddly without good credit, and good income, and good collateral these days. You strike out on all three counts here.

I have excess skin and need cosmetic surgery. is thier a way to get a loan or get the price reduced or even free?

If it’s making you really depressed and you can prove it then you can get it done on the NHS (if you live in the UK), or if you have medical insurance then they may cover it, or if there is some reason that could prove it could be a risk to your health then they will do it for free. The only alternatives i can think of is you take out a loan or pay for it out of your savings.
Hope i helped. =]

I need a narrowed down topic about cosmetic surgery that is interesting. Any other ideas?

Cosmetic surgery is not as expensive as you might think. Almost all of the patients I care for a regular, working class/middle class people. Instead of taking a vacation, they get new boobs or a normal looking nose. Some people finance it.

How about cosmetic procedures used after huge weight loss? We do abdominoplasties, mastopexies and brachioplasties for people who have lost a lot of weight and have a bunch of extra skin hanging on them. They are some fo the happiest patients I see.

I have a "ridge" on the bridge of my noise, it is red and looks terrible!! i am getting more and more self conscious about it and i swear it is increasing in size!! is there anyway i could minimize the appearance of it, without using cosmetic surgery??
Please Help Me!!!

There’s a couple make up tricks you can try. Go to youtube and do a search for "Eve Pearl nose" there’s a video that will teach you how to make your nose look a little more the way you want it to without surgery.

PS- Sorry about all the people that say there’s no hope. Also, if you are overweight, (dunno if you are) Weight has a tendency to stretch the facial features (ESPECIALLY the nose and eyes- making the nose look huge and the eyes small and squinty) but weight loss effects the face first if you lose some.
