Your opinion on cosmetic surgery?
January 15th, 2010 | by admin |Me and my friend were having a discussion about cosmetic surgery.
Aside from the Batman Two Face scenario where your hideously scarred somehow, we disagree on the issue of cosmetic surgery – face lifts, boob jobs, botox and even hair graphs for men.
He feels it’s not natural and to stick with what God gave you.
I feel if it makes your feel better about yourself and it’ll boost your self esteem, there’s a difference between self esteem and vanity, I see nothing wrong with it. I myself had hair graphs put in at Bosleys not long ago because I didn’t want to lose my hair and I feel great and I’m glad I did it.
I do think people can go too far and there is only so much cosmetic surgery can do but if you can afford it then go for it.
Your thoughts?
I agree with you.
If you want cosmetic surgery because you are self conscious about something, go ahead and get it fixed. Just don’t change yourself to meet other people’s needs.

I don’t disapprove of cosmetic surgery in any way. If a person decides to get something fixed it’s their decision. Although, when you take it too far it looks horrible. Big EE cups is not exactly fabulous, but still – if it makes the person happy, it’s fine with me.

I think girls who use cosmetic surgery are incredibly fake and that’s not attractive to me at all. There’s beauty in imperfection.

my theory on when people say give what God gave you – well if God runs are lives as much as people say, well than why would God give us the opportunity to learn & perform plastic surgery?
I think there is a limit, but if it’s something simple than sure go for it.

I agree with you. I see no issue with cosmetic surgery. It is merely a modification. Although it is more drastic and invasive than say, putting on some make-up, or straightening/curling hair, or putting in color contacts, or wearing nice clothing, I see no issue with it. I do agree though that people can go overboard with it…..But perhaps there needs to be some kind of evaluation process before sombody is allowed to go under the knife.
