Hypnosis is a form Mind Control. An individual’s mind may not be placed under the control by another individual via normal hypnosis. Alright, how is it then that some individuals in on stage hypnosis are doing crazy things that they would not normally do?
The reason is when you allow consent to the hypnotist to place you into hypnotic trance and give hypnotic suggestions.
However you may be hypnotized without your consent as well. This is form of underground hypnosis known covert hypnosis. However, even underground hypnosis or covert hypnosis is not mind control.
