Many people ask me for a key to success as a wealthy affiliate. My response is somewhat dependent the situation, but this general rule applies to the vast majority of people trying to make a living online.
It is very easy to get caught up in the latest, greatest launch or new product offering on the web. If you are involved in internet marketing for any length of time, you will eventually end up on a lot of lists and be inundated when a new product launches.
My advice, for anyone starting out and truly wanting to succeed, is to ignore these launch promotions. Find a mentor who specializes in what you are interested in, say affiliate marketing.
Then get the best program offering, preferably including coaching, that you can afford. Work that system, and only that system until you have some success with it. Then, you can start to incorporate some additional income streams from that solid business base.
Too many people jump from tactic to tactic, chasing the “quick” money and never fully implement any marketing system. They have shelves full of workable programs and systems, but no success to show for it.
Don’t fall into this trap. It is very easy to do so. Treat internet marketing like a business and work one system until you have fully implemented it and are starting to see success with it. Then you can enjoy the opportunity to learn a new technique for making money online.
