Pay Per Click Number Crunching
I have been crunching some numbers about my Pay Per Click marketing efforts recently. I was curious to see in general how many clicks I needed to get a sale and how many campaigns I need to run before I find a winner. The results were actually right in line with what I expected. First I found that out of 5 campaigns … and by campaigns I mean 5 products that I am trying to promote successfully via PPC … 4 of the campaigns will be failures. The click to sale ratio was just to low for them to be viable. For the one successful campaign I average about 1 sale every 85 hops. That’s not too bad. Google Ad Words
