FNM Report Round 1
March 5th, 2010 | by admin |Hey guys I’ll be posting my current FNM tourney result. This weeks event featured only 11 players unlike the previous FNM where it reached up to 19 players. Anyways here’s my first round match against a Blue/Green Agro deck.
Game 1 after drawing 7 cards I decided to do a mulligan because I don’t have any green lands in hand. Down to 6 cards, He started first playing 1 forest and tapping it for a Llanowar elf. On my turn I played land and pass, he was able to cast Nessa’s Chosen on the next turn and attack me. Game one ended with him over powering me with his creatures. Game 2 I was able to set up Valakut with 2 Khalni hearts in play and with the help of Plated Geoped I was able to blast him off. Game 3, with just 4 minutes left in the game we were playing in a fast phase, we are down to our last 5 turns and I dont have anything in hand that can turn the game around, while he on the other hand was able to cast 4 creatures and 1 Garruk attacking for 12 and game over. Score 1-2.
